For verda infrastructure and model engineering teams
Verda Slinky GPU visibility: allocation or device failure?
Bring the Slurm job allocation and container context beside the first device-visibility error. A missing allocation and a failing GPU require different next checks.
Free 30-day Team evaluation. No card or automatic subscription. Work email verification required.
Replay a resolved Verda workflow incident
Upload your log file. Review the selected evidence and masking, then run diagnosis. Keep the original log for any follow-up questions.
Before uploading, review cloud data handling and local options.
Upload your log file. Large files are processed in your browser. Only selected evidence is submitted when you run diagnosis.

What a useful evaluation should establish
Compare the first failure, quoted evidence and unresolved questions with an incident your team has already resolved. Begin with this question: Was the GPU assigned to this job step? Only attribute a process, rank, device or recovery state when the submitted evidence establishes it.
Was the GPU assigned to this job step?
Evidence to compare: The job request, effective allocation and device visibility from the same execution step.
The documented no-device symptom can occur without a GPU request. Do not infer a driver fault from visibility outside the allocated job.
Did container startup change the visible devices?
Evidence to compare: Image revision, container launch result and the first runtime exception.
An allocation can exist while the process environment is wrong. Keep job-level resource evidence separate from the application environment.
What evidence should reach cloud support?
Evidence to compare: Approved node identifiers, job timestamps and corresponding platform health events.
A device-health conclusion needs host evidence that can be mapped to the affected job. Existing dashboards remain useful; a log review adds the workload timeline.
Use Denpex alongside your existing telemetry tools to investigate submitted incident evidence. With monitoring configured on a supported plan, detected failures can trigger alerts and an automatic diagnosis from the captured evidence.
Inside Denpex
See the evidence, not just the claim
Follow the causal chain, inspect the quoted evidence and prepare the next handoff. These actual product captures use founder-account examples and the VS Code extension, with the source identified under each image. Open a capture to inspect it at full size.
